A Short Story, A Long Journey
The Story So Far
This creative journey has far exceeded our original expectations.
Begun over five years ago, we have officially photographed over one hundred pairs of boots!
From the bright and colourful to the almost torn-apart, every photo has come with a unique story. By interviewing every model who volunteers to be part of this project, we have heard stories from all walks of life.
They say not to judge a book by its cover (or shoes!). This project has always aimed to embody that ideal. Whilst you can judge someone’s shoes, you will never truly know the journey they have been through without walking it yourself.
The incredible people we have photographed, collaborated and interviewed over the years has taken this project far beyond the bounds of its inception.
We hope to continue this project for many decades to come, and expand our boot search to countries outside of Australia soon. When that time comes, we hope you’ll all be here with us, appreciating every boot as it comes.
